The Susquehanna Foundation for the Blind uses funds donated to support Susquehanna Association for the Blind (SABVI) (Lancaster PA), and its affiliated agencies, Alley Center for the Blind (Lebanon PA), Somerset County Blind Center (Somerset PA), and Independence Industries (Philadelphia PA). Upon ensuring that SABVI is financially sound to continue operating and providing services to the community, the Foundation then seeks to provide grants to programs the support the Foundation’s Mission, and scholarships to students who are blind.
Your dollars provide support for SABVI’s many programs and services provided to your neighbors who are blind or vision impaired, including the opportunity for employment. In addition, your dollars help to give students who are blind the opportunity to excel in higher education.
