RELATIONSHIP TO SABVI
Iris initally experienced vision loss as an adult as the result of diabetic retinopathy. She received orientation and mobility services from SABVI's rehabilitation department. Iris served on SABVI's board and is employed as a receptionist at SABVI - Lancaster.

SABVI'S IMPACT
Being associated with SABVI has been empowering, she said. "It helped me to realize what I can do," said Iris. With training in computers and orientation and mobility, Iris said she is able to cope with her vision loss, work and enjoy a better quality of life.

Additionally, she has enjoyed being a part of the SABVI family. "I like getting to know everyone here. They're good people."
