Camp Cool
Camp Cool is a two week, day program held each June for students six to twelve, who are blind or vision impaired. The camp is designed to assist students to reach new levels of independence. Camp Cool addresses the following areas from the Expanded Career Curriculum: social interaction skills, independent living skills, recreation and leisure, areer education, use of assistive technology, visual efficiency skills and self determination. STEP-Teen Group
Student Transition to Employment Program (STEP) group is open to any persons ages 12-21. The purpose of the teen group activities is to promote independence skills. The skills learned will be applicable to the transition process from school to work and independent living. Some of the areas addressed by these activities include:
